♫ *These are a few of my favourite things* ♫

Hi :) my name's Kirsty, I'm 21 and I live in Brighton in the UK. 

My love of books came around after the Fifty Shades of Grey phenomenon. I remember hearing so much about these books and really having no clue what they were about. One night, bored, I decided to take the plunge and read a sample of it and thought.. 'well, this is kind of boring but I'll give it a go' - oh what a go I gave it! I was absolutely obsessed with the series. I think I read all three books within a week maybe, it was completely unheard of for me. 

Once I finished I found myself craving something else, something to replace the fifty void in my life. I did a few Google searches here and there and stumbled upon the most incredible blog in the world. Maryse's. There, I have met so many wonderful people, I've made the best of bookie friends. After I discovered that site I had a few books to keep me going and then I discovered Goodreads.

Goodreads may just be my favourite website ever. I check it first thing in the morning and last thing at night. I'm always looking for my next best read and I nearly always find it there. It wasn't until recently that I started reviewing books but now I find that I absolutely love doing it. I find it just the perfect way to move on from a book.

I hope you enjoy my reviews and my website. I've never done anything like this before so bare with me.
